Jennifer Duncan Edgeworth’s practice is primarily devoted to environmental litigation, products liability, construction, and commercial litigation. |
 |  |  | Representative Experience- Represented a solid waste disposal company and obtained complete dismissal of a lawsuit involving allegations of CERCLA violations and perchloroethylene contamination.
- Defended an oil company against allegations by independent contractors of hydrogen sulfide exposure.
- Defended pipeline operator against allegations by independent contractor of benzene exposure.
- Obtained a jury verdict for plaintiff homeowners against a general contractor and subcontractor for the negligent installation of the homeowner’s fireplace and insulation. The defendants’ negligence and violation of the applicable building code caused a devastating fire and property damage.
- Represented a marina owner in a case involving the collapse of floating docks that caused over one million dollars in property damage, and defeated a motion for summary judgment filed by the defendant manufacturer of the docks on the issues of statute of repose and the economic loss doctrine. The marina owner ultimately received a favorable settlement.
- Obtained numerous settlements on behalf of insurers and homeowners in cases involving claims of mold damage and construction defects.
- Experienced in commercial litigation claims involving fraud, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty and negligent misrepresentation.

Successfully obtained summary judgment and dismissal of lawsuit on behalf of retailer and supplier of a paintball marker in a case involving allegations that the paintball marker resulted in plaintiff’s blindness in one eye.
